Guide to Using the Scoping Section in CleanClaims

 

1. Accessing CleanClaims 0:00

  • Go to app.cleanclaims.com on your desktop, iTab, or mobile phone (desktop recommended for larger screen).

  • Log into your profile.

 

2. Navigating to Scoping Setup 0:11

  • Click on 'Admin'.

  • Select 'Project Configurations'.

  • Click on 'Scope'.

 

3. Understanding the Scoping Sections 0:30

  • There are two main sections: Pricing and Macros.

 

4. Exploring the Pricing Section 0:40

  • Thousands of line items are available, categorized by trades (e.g., water extraction, wallpaper).

  • Use the search bar to find specific items (e.g., type 'Dehu' to find related line items).

 

5. Editing Prices 1:02

  • Hover over any line item to edit its price and information.

 

6. Creating a Default Price Sheet 1:11

  • Create a price sheet for specific clients or carriers.

  • Click 'Create Cost Sheet', name it, and optionally copy prices from existing sheets.

 

7. Adding Custom Items 1:48

  • Type in the name and unit of measure for custom items and hit 'Save'.

  • Custom items will appear in the 'Custom Scope Items' section.

 

8. Using Macros 2:21

  • Macros allow you to create a list of items for quick access.

  • Click 'Create Macro', name it, and add items from the list.

 

9. Saving and Managing Macros 3:26

  • After creating a macro, it will appear in the dropdown list.

  • You can edit or delete macros as needed.

 

10. Selecting Price Sheets in Projects 4:14

  • Choose the price sheet you want to use for the project.

  • The selected price sheet will automatically populate the pricing for the items.

 

11. Adding Macros to a Project 4:39

  • In the project, navigate to the scoping item in the room.

  • Select the desired macro and choose specific items to include.

 

12. Finalizing the Scope 5:16

  • Hit 'Continue' to add the selected line items into the system.
